We value 925 silver it for its strong durability, its therapeutic virtues, its history, and the legends that accompany its ancient origins. With a brilliant and shiny appearance after polishing, it ages beautifully. 925 sterling silver, comprising 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper/zinc alloy, is an ideal choice for those preferring cooler but rich tones, having sensitive skin, or seeking a premium metal resistant to discoloration.

Over time, silver jewelry may naturally oxidize due to air, humidity, or chemicals, but a simple cleaning can restore its original shine. To prevent oxidation, regularly wear your jewelry, store it in a sealed container or jewelry box when not in use, avoid exposure to saline or chlorinated waters, refrain from storing in high humidity areas, and prevent contact with lotions and perfumes. These measures ensure lasting brilliance and minimize the impact of environmental factors on your silver pieces.

Material: 925 Silver

Weight: 10 g

Signet ring silhouettes in 925 sterling silver have a recorded history spanning ancient Egypt, Rome, and medieval Europe — used to mark authority, seal documents, and authenticate identity. The black signet ring reactivates that formal language through contemporary proportion: a rectangular field, a stone that absorbs light rather than reflects it. A 925 silver signet ring at this weight reads as an object with consequence, not decoration.

A 925 silver signet ring at this band width recovers a proportion that dominated signet design from antiquity through the Renaissance — wider than a standard band, narrow enough to maintain daily wearability, the format was favoured by administrators, clergy, and merchants across documented European and Near Eastern material culture. The signet ring in silver has always functioned as an object of consequence. This black signet ring formalises that lineage through unornamented geometry.

A silver signet ring reimagined around black onyx occupies a specific position in the rings category: it carries the signet's historical association with identity and authority while replacing heraldic engraving with the stark contrast of stone against polished frame. As a 925 sterling silver signet ring, it is hypoallergenic and built with a band geometry that distributes weight evenly, making it a considered choice in both wear and form.

This silver signet ring is priced at $129 CAD.
