Metals That Breathe: Honoring Earth’s Vibrations

From the earliest societies to the first forges, metals have played a central role in shaping civilizations, crafting not only tools and adornments but also beliefs and myths. They embody an intersection between material culture and immaterial symbolism, a meeting point between humans, the earth, and the divine.

The metals we prioritize, such as silver, brass, and gold, come from the earth and carry within them a collective memory. For us, each piece of jewelry is a bridge between ancient knowledge and contemporary exploration, a tribute to these materials that tell the story of the ground we walk on, as well as the history of our ancestors. Creating pieces that carry the earth’s frequencies is a form of dialogue with the living, an invitation to explore the mysteries of metals that, in our hands, come to life and become more than objects.

It All Starts with Metals

Everything begins with our metals, transformed by our team of artisans, keepers of ancient craftsmanship.

Did you know that metals sourced from the earth vibrate at higher frequencies than those made industrially? This phenomenon proves that we are inevitably connected to elemental forces.

Sterling silver is my first love. This lunar metal, which we have used since the start of our journey, is distinguished by its brilliance and protective properties. Used in talismans around the world, it is renowned for repelling the evil eye and warding off negative influences. This protective role isn’t just esoteric. Scientifically, silver has exceptional reflectivity, reflecting up to 95% of visible light. This ability to reflect light has always been symbolically associated with protection, like a mirror reflecting harmful energies.

Strengths and Weaknesses of Sterling Silver

- Positives: Durable and sturdy, hypoallergenic for sensitive skin, easy to maintain, timeless shine.

- Negatives: Tarnishes over time, requires regular cleaning, reacts to chemicals and moisture.

Two years after focusing solely on silver, our collections expanded to include brass. Brass is often underestimated! Yet, it holds a raw beauty and an ability to evolve over time. Its patina, which deepens with age, is more than mere tarnish; it tells a story. Like the life cycles that shape us, brass changes, revealing an emotional richness for those patient enough to wait. Its natural transformation echoes human resilience, the passage of time, and the beauty of imperfection. This metal, in its ability to capture and make time visible, embodies a link between the material and the immaterial, the tangible and the mystical.

Strengths and Weaknesses of Brass

- Positives: Vintage and rustic aesthetic, evolves with a beautiful patina, affordable.

- Negatives: Can leave green marks on the skin, oxidizes when exposed to air and moisture.

For lovers of noble metals and gold, we introduced 22k gold plating to our collections for accessibility reasons.

In our collections, 22k gold is chosen for its rich color, a more intense and vibrant hue than more common versions. This choice is not just aesthetic; it reflects our respect for tradition in Asia, where 22k gold is preferred. The myths surrounding gold are countless: from the tears of the sun in Pre-Columbian civilizations to sacred offerings in Egyptian temples, this metal has always embodied a connection between humans and gods.

Strengths and Weaknesses of 22k Gold Plating on 925 Silver

- Positives: Affordable, rich pigment, hypoallergenic silver base.

- Negatives: The plating can fade over time, offering reduced durability. It requires careful maintenance to preserve the plating. The rich hue of 22k gold may not always pair well with brass tones.

Perfectly Imperfect

With the industrialization of jewelry, expectations around materials have changed over the centuries. Among modern materials, stainless steel is often favored for its strength and durability—characteristics that are appealing at first glance. However, it also possesses a less "deep" and "living" essence. Its chemical composition, mainly made of iron, carbon, and chromium, makes it a robust material but lacks the vibrational depth of metals like silver or gold.

Stainless steel, while light and comfortable to wear, sometimes lacks the physical presence appreciated in jewelry forged from heavier noble metals. Additionally, its production can have a higher environmental impact compared to precious metals sourced sustainably.

In contrast, earth metals like sterling silver, brass, and gold vibrate in a much more significant way, as mentioned above.

Choosing traditional jewelry made from noble metals is opting for a timeless aesthetic, durability, and a profound respect for artisanal traditions.

Complete Transparency

If your quest is for jewelry without imperfection, lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and low-priced, then we may not be the best fit. However, if you are seeking pieces with character, vibrancy, and weight, forged in history, at an honest price that reflects their authenticity, you’re in the right place.

Responding to the Culture of Instant Gratification

In a world where objects are becoming increasingly fleeting, our jewelry is meant to be timeless, carrying deep meaning, rooted in cultural and spiritual continuity. By prioritizing vibrant and renewable metals, each piece of jewelry reflects a connection to ancient traditions and an authenticity grounded in time.
